I tried to make this one look really cinematic because the lighting reminded me of a film noir and marcel looked so concerned.

it’s the small victories as a pet parent that matter
we changed the type of litter Marcel uses and it only took him a minute of investigating before deciding it was good to go and he has been using it and seems to enjoy it more than his previous litter.
I was so afraid with him being so neurotic that he would hate it and pee everywhere else in the house and we’d have to change it back to the old litter.
This litter is great, it stops odours and clumps, where before we were just using saw dust pellets (because they were cheap and what he was used to)
I’m so proud of my little man.

Marcel has finally started to actually love me and it only took, what two and a half months.
He finally lets me pick him up and rough him around, he cuddles and takes naps with me, he comes out when I ask him to and he doesn’t run away all the time when I come home.
But the cutest thing he’s started to do lately is that when I’m working on something (mainly when I’m at my desk), he’ll come up to me and start scratching at my arm or leg and at times starts meowing. He doesn’t want food or treats or anything like that, he just wants me to give him a couple pats, call him handsome or something of the sort and give him a little attention.
He looks directly at me as well when he does these things, Adrian was watching him today and he said the he looks to try and find my face to get my attention.
This damn cat keeps getting cuter and cuter.
