Jacqueline Nicole and the Terrible Tumblr Title

20 year old internet junkie/design student (later rather than the former).

My likes and interests include cats, design (greatly including typography), thrifting, drag queens (including, but not limited to RuPaul and his drag race babies), hot chocolate, snuggies, photography, muumuus, critical thinking, bromances, napping, and cheeseburgers.

This blog is filled with self-depreciating humor, procrastination, over stated opinions, and mind vomit. Pretty much an overall snapshot of my life.

Now included in the blog are a bunch of posts about my cat Marcel Duchat (that's a link, click it)

Also check out my other blog Quixotic Love Pack sometimes other people post there, but not so much. Also you can see my self-deprecation from high school!

So in Design core we have to design a poster/bus shelter ad for one of Gary Hustwit’s films. The original assignment is to design a new poster for either Helvetica or Objectified, but being in the interactive design core our teacher changed it a bit so we have to design a poster for a hypothetical new film he would make about interaction design and also make this ad interactive

This is what I have so far for it. The problem is I can’t really show how it’s interactive, but essentially all the letters are set up on a split-flap display (those old display boards you find in airports and train stations) and as someone moves past the bus stop they’re prompted to “activate” the board to show them the poster.

There’s some bugs and aesthetic things to work out but this is my early-ish digital itteration, we have a critique tomorrow so I’ll end up working on it more after that.
Also I don’t know what else to do with it now so it’s dinner time then going to bed at a reasonable hour time!
